Invitation to the
cooperation at an international water-campaign with hydrants and smileys
Hydrants are
known as global symbols and speak a universal language, serve as international
sympathy-bearers for the water-campaign. As abstract signs, they represent a
complex content: Protectors and helpers in times of need.
They point out
the meaning of the “resource water” immanent in them, that receives an ever
higher status through shortage world-wide.
How the
water-network of the rivers and canals were symbols of connection and
communication in the past, the Internet delivers an infinite river of
information, that is available anytime everywhere, with its smileys as small sympathy-runner
today.
In the framework
one private certain partnership the water-campaign should tell the following:
1. Building
a
network starting from http://www.watercampaign.de with connections and links to
related companies and institutions. Preparing a data base.
2. Collection
and
documentation of the campaign. Research.
3. Planning,
realization
and documentation of a world-wide exhibition with pictures and sculptures to
the topic water and hydrants as „advertisement for friendship “.
4. Search
for
suitable sponsors and mediators like companies from the area of water-economy,
detergent-producers, shipping, internet, beverage-manufacturers, breweries,
fire brigades, fire protection, hydrant-manufacturers.
5. Target:
with the water-campaign in a rapidly changing
world, to reduce language-barriers, with the help of smileys to promote meeting
of children and teens from different cultures, to awake the consciousness for
our “life-basis “ water and to develop a perception for the basic structure of mother
earth.
